FREESTONE COUNTY FAIR & RODEO

The Freestone County Fair & Rodeo is a five-day community event featuring livestock shows, rodeo events, food, music and family activities. Before working with K Devine Designs, the organization had no website. Event announcements were shared primarily through Facebook, making it difficult for visitors to quickly find schedules, rules, dates and other essential information.
The Challenge
With information spread across individual Facebook posts, attendees often had to scroll through the page or search through older content to find what they needed. As the event grew, the organization needed a reliable, centralized source of information that would make planning easier for attendees, participants, vendors and community partners.
The Strategy
K Devine Designs created the organization’s first website, giving the event a professional and easy-to-navigate digital home. The site brought important information together in one place, including event schedules, activities, rules, history, contact information and sponsor recognition.
The website was designed to make information easy to locate while capturing the welcoming, community-centered character of the Fair & Rodeo. It also gave organizers a dependable platform for sharing updates before and throughout the five-day event.
The Results
During the Fair & Rodeo, the website now receives thousands of clicks each day as attendees use it to check schedules and event information.
Attendance increased by more than 27% in the first year following the website’s launch and has continued to grow steadily in the years since. What began as a solution for organizing information became a valuable marketing and communication tool that helps connect the entire community with the event.
